Step 4 – Set up Wunderbit & connect the API

The final step is to sign up for Wunderbit and create/connect your exchange API.
Sign up to Wunderbit and choose your subscription
Unlike the exchanges, where the trading happens, Wunderbit (Mythrils exclusive partner) is a platform that executes the trades on your behalf. Think of it as your own worker bot that listens 24/7 for entry and exit orders from the Mythril algorithm.
In order to do this Wunderbit needs access to the exchange to buy and sell your crypto. All exchanges have backend access known as API (Application Programming Interface) and its used to securely and privately make buy and sell purchases without having to log into your dashboard.
So to simplify the process:
Mythril AI watches the charts for an entry/exit signal-> The signal is sent to Wunderbit-> Wunderbit executes the trade via the exchange API access-> Trade is completed-> Rinse & repeat.
As part of the overall security measures we employ, Wunderbit and Mythril can NOT move your funds off of the exchange as long as you configure your API exactly as we specify. To move your funds you will have to log into your exchange account and manually do it.
1. After you have created an account on Wunderbit navigate to the menu on the left hand side of the dashboard and click “Billing”
You will be given a choice of 4 subscription plans – Free, Basic, Pro, and Premium.
2. Kraken – If you are using Kraken we recommend, at a minimum, signing up for the “Pro” plan as it will allow you to open up to 100 trades at one time. Kraken has over 50 different cryptocurrencies that can be traded and the “Pro” plan will be able to have them all open at once if the Mythril algorithm makes the attempt. Whereas the “Free” and “Basic” plans only allow up to 5 & 15 open positions. That could lead to possible missed opportunities if all positions are open and Mythril tries to open more
3. KuCoin – If you are using KuCoin we recommend signing up for the “Premium” plan as that has unlimited open trades and will allow you to take full advantage of the Mythril algorithm. Mythril trades over 130 different cryptocurrencies on KuCoin and the “Pro” plan will cap you at 100 which means you could miss opportunities
*NOTE* The crypto currency markets can be extremely volatile at times and also very quiet. We recommend signing up for at least 3 months (no matter which subscription you choose) to allow enough time for possible market lulls/consolidations to pass in order to catch the next wave of price movements and allow any entered/current trades to play out accordingly
How to pay for the Wunderbit subscription using PayPal
1. When you have selected your desired subscription a pop-up will appear that will give you two payment options. The first will be to pay in crypto (instructions in paying with crypto is posted below) and with PayPal
2. Click the Paypal button and you will be taken to a Paypal invoice page. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish your subscription payment
KuCoin – How to pay for the Wunderbit subscription using USDT
When you have selected your desired subscription a pop-up will appear that will give you two payment options. The first will be to pay in crypto and the second with PayPal. Click the first “Pay with crypto” button
2. Then click “Pay with USDT (ERC-20)”
3. A new popup will appear and it will have the information to where you should send your USDT to
4. Copy the exact amount shown in the USDT field
5. Copy the wallet address that the USDT will be SENT to for payment
6. Now we will pay for the subscription using the USDT funds in KuCoin
7. Log into KuCoin and navigate to “Withdraw” and click it
8. If “USDT Tether” is not already selected click the dropdown and select it
9. Be sure “ERC20” is selected. *IMPORTANT* If you choose a different protocol it may lead to loss of funds
10. Paste the wallet address you were given on the invoice
11. Put in the exact amount of USDT specified on the invoice
12. Double check all of your fields and if they are correct click “Confirm”
It may take up to 45 minutes for the transaction to settle but you will receive an email confirming the successful payment once completed
Kraken – How to pay for the Wunderbit subscription using USDT
When you have selected your desired subscription a pop-up will appear that will give you two payment options. The first will be to pay in crypto and the second with PayPal. Click the first “Pay with crypto” button
1. You will be taken to an invoice page to make the payment and the payment will have to be made in crypto. If you are using Kraken select “More Currencies” and select “USDT (ERC-20)”
2. Then click “Pay with USDT (ERC-20)”
3. A new popup will appear and it will have the information to where you should send your USDT to
4. Copy the exact amount shown in the USDT field
5. Copy the wallet address that the USDT will be SENT to for payment
6. Now we will pay for the subscription using the USDT funds in Kraken
7. Sign in to your Kraken account, navigate to “Buy Crypto” *NOTE* If you followed the instructions in the previous steps you should have all of your funds in USD. The following steps will convert some of your USD to USDT to make the subscription payment
8. Click on “Buy”
9. Type or paste in the amount that is referenced on your invoice (Step 4). *IMPORTANT* If your invoice total is 110 you will buy 135 (buy at least 25 more than what the invoice total is) worth of USDT to cover the transfer and exchange fees as they will NOT be automatically deducted from your USD funds and could cancel the transaction requiring you to start over
10. Click the drop down menu and type in “USDT” (without quotes) and select it when it comes up
11. The “Pay with” drop down should have “Kraken USD balance” selected.
12. When you have double checked all the fields click “Preview buy”
13. A popup will appear. Confirm your order and click “Buy now”
14. When the conversion of USDT is complete navigate to the upper menu and click “Funding”
15. Once on the Funding page scroll down to “Crypto Assets” and find “Tether” in the list
16. In the “Actions” column for Tether click the arrow pointing up which is “Withdraw”
17. On the next page be sure “Tether USD” is selected in the drop down
18. Click on “Withdraw”
19. Select “Tether USD (ERC20)” under “Withdraw Type”. *IMPORTANT* If you choose a different protocol other than ERC20 it will lead to a loss of your funds
20. Click “Add Tether USD (ERC20) address”
21. A popup will appear after clicking “Add Tether USD (ERC20) address”
22. Under “Account Details” type in a unique name you will be able to identify later
23. Paste the address from the invoice (Step 5) into the “Withdraw address” field
24. Be sure the “Withdraw address” matches the invoice address (Step 5) exactly and click “Add new address”. Follow the remaining instructions
25. After you add the new address you will be brought back to the “Deposits and withdraws” screen. Make sure “Tether USD” is selected in the drop down
26. Make sure “Withdraw” is selected.
27. Under “Withdraw type” dropdown be sure “Tether USD (ERC20)” is selected
28. Select the invoice wallet address you just created from the dropdown. *IMPORTANT* Be sure to double check the address matches the one on the invoice. If it is incorrect you could lose those funds
29. Type in or paste the exact amount the invoice is requesting (Step 4). *IMPORTANT* Look at the “Withdraw” button at the bottom as it should reflect how much you will send minus the transaction fees, change the withdraw amount so the “Withdraw” button shows the exact invoice amount or slightly over. Not doing this will result in the invoice not being fully paid and the transaction failing
30. Follow the final prompts. If you have SMS/Email Verification or 2FA enabled follow the prompts to finish the transaction
How to set up a KuCoin API, connect it to Wunderbit, and copy trade Mythril
1. When you have finished creating your Wunderbit account sign back into your KuCoin account
2. Once logged in you will navigate to the upper right hand side of the page and hover over the icon that has your initials
3. Scroll down to “API Management” and click it
4. On the next screen click “Create API”
5. Give your API a name, we recommend “Wunderbit” (without quotes)
6. Create an API passphrase. We recommend using something that has upper/lower case letters, numbers and symbols. *IMPORTANT* Make sure you write the passphrase down and keep it safe as you will need it again to connect Wunderbit
7. “General” needs to be checked
8. “Trading” needs to be checked
9. “Transfer” is NOT to be checked
10. Under “IP Restriction” select “NO”
11. Click “Next”
12. If you set up the recommended security features follow the prompts
13. When the API set up is completed a pop up will display the key and secret.
14. *IMPORTANT* Be sure to write down or copy to a word, text or notepad file the “key” and “secret” and keep it in a safe place as you will need it again to connect Wunderbit. Also click the copy button to save the key to your clipboard.
You will need the “Key”, “Secret”, and “API Passphrase” to connect Wunderbit
15. When you have copied the key, secret, and api passphrase click “Confirm”
16. Log into Wunderbit if you haven’t already done so
17. When you’re on the Wunderbit dashboard go to the left navigation and select “Settings-> My Exchanges”
18. On the “My Exchanges” screen click “Add New”
19. Select KuCoin from the drop down menu
20. Type in a name you would like your account to display as
21. Type or paste API Key
22. Type or paste API Secret
23. Type in the Passphrase you created when setting up the API
24. Double check all of your information and click “Add”
25. If Wunderbit successfully connects to KuCoin you should see the API listed with a green check mark. If not, you will need to start over and create a new API. If you continue to have issues please contact Wunderbit support for further assistance
26. Now you will need to click on “Marketplace” on the left hand navigation to copy trade Mythril
27. In the search options click the drop down menu and select “KuCoin”
28. When “KuCoin” is selected click “Filter”
29. In the list of traders find “Mythril AI” in the “Trader Name” column
30. Under actions click “Follow” *IMPORTANT* Be sure you followed the instructions in the previous steps and have USDT as your base currency in your KuCoin account otherwise trades will not execute
31. A popup will now display and you will have to select the radio button for the name you created for your account
32. Select “All Actions” *IMPORTANT* “All actions” must be selected in order for the algorithm to apply Dollar Cost Averaging and Take Profits. Selecting “Entry/Exit Signals” may lead to fewer profits and higher losses
33. Select “Trader’s settings” *IMPORTANT* “Trader’s settings” must be selected in order for the algorithm to implement compounding interest and use profits to open additional trades (which grows your portfolio faster). Selecting “Custom settings” may lead to lower profits
34. Click “Confirm”
Congrats! You are now connected to Mythril AI and will trade on the KuCoin exchange!

How to set up a Kraken API, connect it to Wunderbit, and copy trade Mythril
1. When you have finished creating your Wunderbit account log into your Kraken account
2. Go to the upper right hand side of your screen and click the navigation (should have your first name displayed)
3. Click on “Security”
4. Click on “API”
5. On the “API Management” page click “Add Key”
6. On the “Add API Key” page add the name “Wunderbit” without quotes in the “Key Description” field
7. Fill in all of the check boxes as displayed *IMPORTANT* Do NOT check the “Deposit Funds” or “Withdraw Funds” for security purposes
8. When all of the permissions are correctly selected click “Generate Key”
9. After you generate your “API Key” and “Private Key” they will display on the same page
10. Copy the “API Key” by clicking on “Copy Key” and paste it by “pressing CTRL+V” or “right mouse click-> Paste” into a text, notepad or word file
11. Copy the “Private Key” by clicking on “Copy Private Key” and paste it into the same text, notepad or word file
*IMPORTANT* Be sure to copy and save your API Key and Private Key as you will need them again when you’re connecting your Wunderbit account
12. Log back into Wunderbit if you haven’t already done so
13. When you’re on the Wunderbit dashboard go to the left navigation and select “Settings-> My Exchanges”
14. On the “My Exchanges” screen click “Add New”
15. Select “Kraken” from the drop down menu
16. Type in a name you would like your account to display as
17. Type or paste API Key
18. Type or paste API Secret
19. Double check all of your information and click “Add”
20. If Wunderbit successfully connects to Kraken you should see the API listed with a green check mark. If not, you will need to start over and create a new API. If you continue to have issues please contact Wunderbit support for further assistance
21. Now you will need to click on “Marketplace” on the left hand navigation to copy trade Mythril
